Mr. Grewal received his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor in 1990 where he was a member of the Triangle Fraternity and the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. He then graduated from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1993. While in law school Mr. Grewal was on Law Review, the Scholatistc Review Board, and was a finalist for the National Moot Court Trial Team and further received the Jurisprudence Award. He was admitted to the practice of law in the State of Michigan in May 1993. Mr. Grewal became licensed to practice law in Illinois and Washington D.C. in 1994. Mr. Grewal received his Master of Laws in Taxation from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago Illinois in 1995. He graduated with honors and received three specialty certificates in the areas of Corporate Taxation, Taxation of Small Businesses, and Estate Planning and Administration. Mr. Grewal has lectured on estate planning topics as well as general business law and further obtained his real estate broker license in 2000.
Mr. Grewal opened Grewal & Associates in 1997 and he is the managing partner and owner of the firm. His practice areas include criminal defense, family law, estate planning, real estate law, business law, personal injury law, general civil matters and he is licensed to practice in all federal courts.
