Tyler obtained his Juris Doctorate from WMU Thomas M. Cooley Law School and graduated first in his class, summa cum laude. While in law school, Tyler was dedicated to his studies and received Certificates of Merit for academic excellence in over half his enrolled courses, including Family Law, Wills and Trusts, Estate Planning, Contracts, and Criminal Procedure. Tyler knew that his legal education was key to helping future clients, and he was committed to learning as much as he could in each law school course.

Tyler’s experience with the law began long before college and law school. While still in high school, Tyler obtained his first job working at a local law firm specializing in criminal defense and family law. Throughout high school, college, and law school, Tyler worked his way up from a filing assistant to a law clerk. Through this experience, Tyler gained invaluable knowledge of each step of the legal process, from beginning consultations to trial preparation.
In his free time, Tyler enjoys travelling, cooking, and spending time with his family, friends, and Australian Shepherd, Margo.
