Tim Seeger

Attorney

DO NOT DELETE. Ask Yango. It's complicated.

Practice Areas:

Prior to joining Grewal Tim practiced various areas of law in California. Most recently, Tim worked at a boutique law firm handling matters including, but not limited to, Family Law, Employment Law, Class Actions, Contract disputes, Bankruptcy Law, Business Law, Probate including Guardianships and Conservatorships, and Real Property Law. Tim has appeared in numerous court proceedings from the Court of Appeals, to Federal Courthouses, to administrative hearings. Tim has a strong courtroom presence in which his confidence and comfort provides ease to clients during their most difficult times. Further, Tim has a deep understanding of multiple areas of law allowing him to proficiently advise his clients as to their legal rights.

Tim has also worked for a Plaintiff focused Employment Law Firm. The focus of the firm was to take on the tough cases that many firms did not desire. These cases including the small value cases or the tough facts where an employee was wrongfully terminated. During this time Tim saw the importance of fighting for the "little person", such as the person who did not receive overtime pay and their employer was refusing to provide it or the person who complained of an unsafe work environment and was fired shortly thereafter. Utilizing his expansive legal knowlegde, Tim is able to help those in need of a guiding hand through these troubling legal times. Tim strives to treat every client with care as each case is unique to each individual.

Tim understands his title is not just attorney but Counsel. As a Counselor Tim knows it is his job to Counsel each client on the law. This is not accomplished through mere dictation of the law but listening to each client and understanding their needs and why they came to this firm. Tim understands no one is happy to call an attorney and only do so because a legal right for infringed, legal assistance is needed, or an inidivudal seeks legal guidance. It is due to the delicate nature of needing an attorney that Tim is passionate about counseling clients on their rights. This is true if you are in an accident, going through a divorce, or a business client looking to understand how to protect your future. Tim takes passion in treating each client with care and a willingness to inform.

Tim also understands the emotional toll of litigation. Tim knows that in order to survive each client needs a zealous advocate who will ensure their rights are protected. Tim accomplishes this goal by staying up to date on changes and advancements in the law and being prepared for all potential outcomes. Through his strong legal knowledge Tim is able to ensure that each client is well protected and the best argument is always before the Court. Through his preparedness, Tim is able to foresee potential issues that may arise and ensure the client is advised of such issues so that the client can work in collaboration to ensure their desired outcome.

Tim grew up in Virginia and attended the University of South Carolina for his undergraduate degree. While at South Carolina Tim obtained his bachelor's degree with a focus in history and a minor in political science. It was in his Junior year, while taking a Pre-Law course, that he knew he wanted to become an attorney. Tim made this decision upon learning all he could do with a law degree to help others and change the world around him.

Tim attended Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, CA. While attending Thomas Jefferson Tim gained valuable experience that helped shaped him into the attorney he is today.

During Tim's first year he worked with the Veterans Legal Assistance Clinic. Through the clinic Tim was able to fully represent and assist local, homeless, veterans through their legal struggles. Further, Tim was able to participate in the annual "stand down" event in which veterans are provided an array of services including legal assistance through expedited Court proceedings. The Veterans clinic, and the "stand down" event, helped Tim to see his ability to help those in need who cannot help themselves.

In addition to the Veterans Clinic, Tim also spent more than a year as a small claims mediator for two different court houses. This experience was invaluable as Tim was able to gain the neccessary skills of viewing a matter objectively and understanding both sides of an issue. Through this objective viewpoint Tim is able to provide client's a realistic view of their case in the same light a judge will see their matter. By providing this viewpoint Tim is able to provide a consistent legal game plan in which the client is able to understand their rights and legal hurdles.

In his spare time Tim enjoys playing golf, hiking and camping, spending time with his soon to be wife and their dogs, and traveling. Tim is a huge sports fan and will gladly discuss why the Dallas Cowboys will always be America's Team.
