ChurchWyble, P.C., is committed to helping prevent thousands of unnecessary deaths and serious injuries every year by promoting safe driving habits. As part of this effort to reduce preventable accidents, ChurchWyble has teamed up with Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo to reach out to high school students in the Kalamazoo area.
On Tuesday, October 23, 2012, associate attorney Nolan L. Erickson joined Morgan Robinson of the Borgess Injury Prevention program to provide students at Comstock High School with a 60-minute presentation about the dangers of distracted driving.
In addition to warning teens about the dangers of distracted drivers of all ages – young and old – the presentation offered a number of tips about safe driving habits.
The program was well-received by the students, many of whom are new drivers or will be new drivers in the near future. All students received a wristband and/or keychain to remind them to drive safely.
