Kenny McGrain joined Grewal Law, PLLC as an Associate Attorney after working with the Grewal team as a law clerk throughout law school and as a legal assistant before law school. Kenny practices a variety of different types of law, including personal injury, criminal law, cannabis law, family law, and general civil matters. He also serves as the Assistant City Attorney for the City of East Lansing, handling district court prosecutions and code enforcement matters.
Kenny was born in Woodbridge, Virginia but grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania before following in the footsteps of his father and brother by attending Michigan State University for his undergraduate studies, where he was a member of the Honors College. In 2017, Kenny graduated from Michigan State with his Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from the Eli Broad College of Business. Kenny then continued his education at the Michigan State University College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor and graduated cum laude in 2021.
During law school, Kenny participated in the Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute, where he gained valuable knowledge and experience about every step of the trial process. Kenny also earned the Jurisprudence Achievement Award for attaining the top grade in his Health Care Fraud & Abuse course. While in law school, Kenny balanced his academic accomplishments with athletic achievements by helping his team capture an Intramural basketball championship.
In his free time, Kenny enjoys golfing, coaching his fantasy football teams, listening to music, rooting on Michigan State and Detroit sports teams, and spending time with family and friends.
