GREWAL LAW PLLC’S COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
SERVING LOCAL COMMUNITIES THROUGHOUT MICHIGAN
Grewal Law PLLC is proud to announce that Mick S. Grewal, Sr. has been voted to the Board of Directors of Small Talk Children’s Assessment Center in Lansing, MI. This organization focuses on empowering children of abuse and it is a place “where small voices can be heard.”
Mick is very passionate about this organization and protecting these children, “I believe in and support the mission of Small Talk. Small Talk is giving a voice to our most vulnerable children who have been violated, physically and/or sexually. This is a safe place to give children an opportunity to talk to a trained therapist, at no cost to them, and begin the healing process.”

Supporting Important Charitable Organizations
At our firm, we often represent those who have been hurt due to the criminal wrongdoing or outright negligence of others. Committed to providing assistance, resources, and legal counsel to those who have been physically or sexually abused, many of our team members also choose to freely donate their time to local and national organizations that empower survivors – and fight to end abusive systems.
A few of the organizations we support:
Survivor Strong: Aiming to provide healing and educational opportunities for survivors of gender-based violence, Survivor Strong is a national organization that relies on a trauma-informed and victim-centered approach for healing.
Michigan Human Trafficking Task Force: The MHTTF works to end the widespread problem of human trafficking and sexual abuse by pursuing prosecution for perpetrators and supporting rehabilitation for victims.
Small Talk Children’s Advocacy Center: An important local advocacy and counseling center in Lansing that provides a safe place for child victims of abuse and trauma.

Advocating for the Humane Treatment of Animals
Our attorneys at Grewal Law PLLC are also passionate about protecting vulnerable animals and ensuring that they are safe from abuse and cruelty. That’s why we support the Capital Area Humane Society and their mission to help companion animals through placement, education, and protection programs. Because we have also seen firsthand how animal companions can offer emotional support to crime and abuse victims, our attorneys Mick S. Grewal, Sr. and David S. Mittleman are also the official sponsors for a court support dog named Kory at the Ingham County Prosecutor’s Office, as part of their Canine Advocacy Program (CAP).
