Attorney John Fraser Featured in WLAJ 53 TV Spot with Liisa Speaker

John Fraser on the News

In November 2018, Michigan voters backed marijuana legalization, allowing recreational marijuana to become legal throughout the state. As a well-known cannabis law attorney in Michigan, John Fraser was recently invited to share his insights in a TV spot for WLAJ 53 with Attorney Liisa Speaker from Speaker Law Firm.

Called “My Legal with Liisa Speaker,” the recurring segment features Attorney Speaker’s interviews with local attorneys who are highly-respected within their fields. In the most recent spot, Attorney Fraser notes that Michigan adults over the age of 21 can now possess and consume marijuana, as well as grow up to 12 marijuana plants in the safety of their homes.

In spite of this fact, there are still plenty of restrictions on marijuana use. For instance, driving under the influence of marijuana is unequivocally illegal, and unlike intoxication with alcohol, there is no consistent system of measuring marijuana impairment.
